Answer
The correct answer is B. 3 only
Participation in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) by healthcare facilities or institutions is voluntary and is at the discretion of their respective management, whether it is government or private management.
The ABDM aims to establish a comprehensive national digital health ecosystem that facilitates universal health coverage in a manner that is efficient, accessible, inclusive, affordable, timely, and secure. It intends to provide a wide range of data, information, and infrastructure services by leveraging open, interoperable, standards-based digital systems while ensuring the security, confidentiality, and privacy of health-related personal information. However, it is not compulsory for all citizens to obtain an Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) Number. Individuals who wish to participate in the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and desire to have their healthcare records available in a digital format can create an ABHA Number.
The Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) will have a nationwide presence and enable seamless portability of health records across the country through the use of a Health ID - a unique personal health identifier. The adoption of Health Information Standards will play a crucial role in achieving national portability within the mission.
